Raze got off to a bit of a rocky start as you can see by the average star graph. Things improved a bit around our 25th attack or so the graph has a sharp incline. I'd like to think that's due to improvements on previously scouted bases. Remember that the groupme links are available to help you with planning.
Latam seemed to have a lot of trouble dealing with our defenses. I believe they only scored 3 three stars against our bases. Either that's a product of a two star philosophy or the impressive layouts in the clan. In any case, it helps to reinforce what we stress; 2-star attacks dont win wars.
Latam Empire made a charge late in the war but it was no where near enough stars to challenge the incredible lead Raze had already built. Post war we had two member of Latam join to congratulate us on the victory. Its always nice to hear what the other side of the war thinks of our clan.
I would like to thank Cloud for working on the graphs this week.
20 three stars, 8 two stars, 2 one stars with no bases left undeafeated all amounting to 190/190 clan xp.
most heroic attack goes to someone called "the duke 5" for his 2 star attack against the max defensive towered enemy 2.Jean-R(1). Although in my opinion it was a bit lucky. The Duke used 235 troops to get one star, then a single minion brought home a second star.
most heroic defense goes to 24. beanz for holding 20. to a 40% no star. Raze also managed 7 defensive victories including two each by Cota and Beanz.
A special shout out to our 6 star attackers this week. Jim (is a beast! wow!), Avery, Mrs. Duke (I know her!), and iAmFif3 all put up two excellent attacks this weekend. Thanks for your help in nailing down the victory!
Clan Business
I keep seeing something over the past several wars and its bugging me. Clan castle kills can be difficult at times. There are certain strategies for assisting in making sure you get the most out of your luring troops such as the using a giant before the lure troops to help soak damage and if in doubt on a hog raid, ALWAYS spend an extra hog to make sure the cc is empty. One thing that I would like to see stopped is the use of a golem to help with the cc kill. I see a lot of good technique for the lure and drag to the side, but it is a waste to see people then use a max golem as the sacrificial lamb for enemy cc to beat like a pinata while wiz and witches try to clean up. A giant or two serves the same purpose and costs a whole lot less housing space. Its essentially like using a giant to disarm a giant bomb when you can, and should, use a barbarian.
The feeder unfortunately lost this weekend. You can read their recap on their webstie linked on our recruitment page. They put up a good fight against a level five clan but just didnt have enough to get the win.
For all the new members in the clan, the war strategy page is most important. It outlines our policies and expectations. As always, feel free to ask questions if anything is confusing.
Housekeeping has asked me to remind you about both war attack policies. As always, both attacks are required in every war you participate in. Failing to get in both attacks will result in removal from the clan for members, or a demotion for those who have ranks.
That's all from me this week. Level 5 clan! woohoo!
