Participating in the Fair Play Potluck, RazeInfinity rolled with 30. We matched competitive war clan, Winter is Here. I don't believe Winter is Here was participating in the pot luck, but I know both clans were glad for a tough match up. Winter is Here had some tough bases and we would need to use too many nukes to get the nines cleared, however we were still able to get some th10 triples. That would turn out to be the factor that would allow us to take the lead at the end of the war. Gratz to Olav, MasterChief, BCGutsy, Mrs. Duke, Triadd, and Dragon Slayer for 6 star performances. Ricepatty would earn Most Heroic Attack for her 66% 2 star GoVa with AQ walk on their #2 th11. Great up-hit, RP! Please check out Cr8zyman's recap below to see some other great attacks. Thanks Cr8zy!

After launching war, we were disappointed to see we landed a mismatch. We've been on both sides of a mismatch and always prefer a competitive war. Our opponent, the karnataka clan, decided it wasn't a flaw in the Clash of Clans matchmaking algorithm though, they decided it was our fault. After this initial message, calling us "worse than modders"and a Fake Play Clan, they would call us unethical on Twitter. Their poster wondered why no one had reported us for our unethical play of focusing on offense over defense in upgrading. So, what can you do when faced with such vehemence and salt? The same thing you do in any war: 3 star everything you can. Karnataka had a few talented attackers and some tough bases to crack. Many of them had not upgraded Valkyries and many top bases were loaded cc troops that weren't good for the new meta. For those reasons they were in a deficit even without the town hall imbalance. We had some excellently executed plans, and some beautiful attacks (see below). They seemed to give up, leaving attacks left unmade. Congrats to Jim, R2D2, Capped, and Snak Shenanigan on 6 stars each. Big ups to Duke for nearly 3 starring their th11 as a th10. He would get Most Heroic Attack, and Capped would get Most Heroic Defense for one of his 3 soaks.. Please check out Cr8zyman's recap (bottom); excellent job.. Congratulations to FYI I'm GCH and Olav who represented us in the RWCS versus DWA event. GCH would put two stars on two 10s (as a 9) early in the war. Olav would put up 6 stars on clean up. Excellent job! Please update your war weight information using the form on BAND. Try to do this once a week. Remember to time your hero upgrades so you can be a full participant in weekend war.
There have been many wars since the update where we have had to fight back and would only take the lead in the last hour of war. This war versus Syria Stars**** would not be one of those wars. Syria’s clan message said, “We are the Syrian Warriors, is there a challenger?” The members of RazeInfinity would take up the challenge, would start strong, and never gave up the lead. The Syrians did have a couple of bases that were tough to crack and took several hits to clear. They seemed to give up about half way through war, though, and left some attacks unmade. Overall, lots of Raze folks had a great war. Nice job everyone. Congratulations to Olav, Jag DeathScythe, Steven, iAmFif3, and Triadd on 6 star performances.
Clan business: Those who are struggling to clear bases need to continue to plan and ask for assistance before making attacks. TH9 need to get attacks in before the last 6 hours of war. Please opt out if you can't make that timeline. Thank you for joining WarMatch.Us. We are still testing it, but so far it seems to be a step in the right direction.
We didn't successfully match with our internal scrim, but congratulations to both DemiGods and RazeAffinity teams for pulling out separate wins. Please continue to check in with BAND for upcoming events and make sure to RSVP. We may be piloting warmatch.us, which would replace ClashCaller. Check it out when you have time.
Valkyrie section of the Offense page has been updated, and a Bowler section has been started. Please check these resources. If you'd like to help update some of the other sections, please let JD know. Check those resources out here. Raze On! A nice 35v35 war, the matchup was a little rough on the town hall 11 side, we had 2 th11’s they had 5. But we had 12 th10’s and they had 11, and over all our Hero levels were higher so we knew it was likely to go our way. arkansas came out swinging and took an early lead. They did a good job and really ripped through our bottom th8 and 9’s, but they where coming down to do it. They held that lead all the way until the end, but we managed to stay within 10-15 pts down even as our own 9’s had some trouble clearing their part of the map. However we handled the upper part of the map well with JD putting an excellent 3 star attack on their #5. Overall the rest of the town hall 10’s put 3 stars on 7, 9, 10, 13, and 16. Conversely arkansas only 3 starred 1 of our th10’s and that made all the difference. We took the lead back in the last hour when the th10’s came down and took out the remaining bases. The 6 Star Club was BCGusty, JBlizzy, FYI I’m GCH, Lord Longstrouk
And I have to point out the 9 Attacks the Steven absorbed. This was the final war with Duke as our leader, great win, great era. Thanks again Duke! -Cel This past weekend war was my last as leader of this great clan. Its been over a year since I took the helm from Krusty. We've seen a lot of changes to the game and to the clan in that time. I wanted to thank all of you for the support and trust you showed during my time as leader. I couldn't have done it without you and without the amazing team of Co-leaders helping. Unfortunately, real life has ramped up for me just like it did for those that lead before me. I will continue to stay on with the clan but Raze deserves a leader that can devote more time to the clan than I currently am able.
My replacement has been with the clan for a long time. He's a great guy to have around to help lead by example and always keeps his cool in tough situations. I know the clan will be in excellent hands. There is no one else I'd rather see take over for me than JD. I hope you'll all support him the same way you supported me. Raze On! -Duke Welcome back to the site! Last weekend we had a mixed scrimmage with nuclear fallout. Unfortunately, I wasn't on the roster and neglected to even think about getting someone to write up the war until way too late. Luckily, this weekend I was on the ball. The score looks like a blowout and it was. Raze borrowed a few players from DemiGods this weekend to help boost the war size and we also had a few new members as well. There were several amazing attacks this weekend. I'm sure Avery will have a hard time showcasing all of the unique attacks but its certainly worth watching even if your attack wasn't highlighted. I've added the pictures of the crushed th10 bases below. Avery and RicePatty also recently put together a planning video that's worth watching as well. Leadership thinks this style of video is worth reproducing in the future so continue your hard work and you may be featured in an upcoming video as well. Overall Stats: As always, a big shout out to our 6 star performers this weekend! Your efforts go a long way in providing us the breathing room we need to keep wars fun. Olav (2xth10 3's), Jon Fowler, Mrs. Duke, kingkongkiller, and Jefe all had perfect wars for the clan this weekend. Clan Business We will have another invitational this weekend. Last week we rebooted the competition which seemed to add a little more energy and complexity to the clan. As a reminder, the invitational rankings are based on a mixture of factors but basically boil down to one basic element: Three star your attacks. The running tally for the invitationals can be found on the clan records tab above. As of right now, the focus is on getting Raze to level 8. Once we accomplish that, leadership plans on celebrating with some fun activities like arranged wars and mixed scrimmages. If you have any concerns or ideas to help the clan, feel free to contact one of the co leaders on Band or send an email. Raze On! -Duke We faced lords about a year ago, and we beat them in Raze fashion. After the war, one of their members came over to congratulate us in a true sportsman like conduct. Ever since, lords have been in contact with leadership and have had occasional visits to seek advice in progressing as a 3 star war clan. And a year later, we joined our previous opponents in a fun and friendly scrimmage war. Thanks to the efforts of some of the leadership members in both clans. (Special thanks to JD, for working on the roster last minute to make it a successful matchup). The atmosphere in clan chat is best described as laid back and friendly, and it spilled over how the story of the war goes: No pressure, no stress, and have fun. With that said, the war started of to a slow start. RazeAffinity fired off 4 consecutive attacks to break the ice. Unfortunately, once lords champions took the lead, RazeAffinity was unable to take it back. The war ended with an 80-65 win for lords champions. Props to the six star warriors from both clans: Nezza, Triad, Olav, Avery, Burnout97, Jefe, Dragon Slayer, and herculus. Thank you lords, for the privilege in sharing the battlefield with you. Hopefully, we can do it again in the future and further fortify the relationship we started a year ago. More upcoming scrim wars in the works, so keep your eyes on Band for announcements/Sign-ups to be part of the fun. If you were not included, it’s mainly because of the weights needed to make up the match, so don’t sweat it. You’re insatiable thirst for war can be satisfied in Demigods or affinity. As always, Raze on! Jim In week 2 out of 3 in a row of our mix scrims, Raze combined with Failboat and Swarm to put together a roster of elites. Over a month ago, Raze tied Swarm despite being an underdog in terms of townhall and hero levels. Unfortunately, Swarm won the tie breaker. A few weeks before that match, Swarm and Failboat tied each other with Failboat winning the tiebreaker. In light of three equally talented teams, we decided to do a matchup. Unfortunately, some roster issues (not because of the Raze Family) prevented the two clans meeting on the field of battle. The FBElite Jr. team met up with D Nation, a level 9 clan with 100+ wins. After a strong start, the clan got off to an unspectacular mid-game which left plenty of room for the enemy clan to come back. In the final hour, the enemy clan sent 5 attacks against our top base and only came away with one successful attack and that was for two stars. You can see more of the recap in Avery's video. The other half of the Scrim participants were camped out in RazeAffinity, word spread of the failed match up and we sadly hit the search again hoping at least to have some fun. Reyes del Clash was the unlucky clan that got the match up. Although they were a Level 8 Clan with 152 Wins and had th10 advantage it was clear they had rushed bases and the Hero levels where no where near the totals on the RazeAffinity/Scrim side. This was going to be ugly.
With so many different clans working together it was a little chaotic out the gate but the attacks were looking solid and the 6 enemy th8’s where cleared by mastershake, K Rob, and Triadd in the first 2 hours. The rest of the crew went to work all over the map putting up many great 3 star attacks, the enemy seemed absent. In fact in the first half of the war they took a total of 3 attacks putting up 6 Stars. By the end it was 85 - 64 which was 5 stars short of a perfect war for the RazeAffinity/Scrim clan. Big shout out the 6 Star warriors Yankee (who took down th11 and th10!!!), ??????, MaxHuge, Cr8zyMan24, grope, mastershake, K Rob, Triadd Clan Business Next weekend is the Lords scrimmage. We faced Lords several months ago and they gave us one of our more exciting wars. It should be interesting to see how each clan has progressed in between meetings. Make sure to sign up on Band if you're available to war. we will strictly draw from this list to avoid any roster issues that see to come up during mixed scrims and arranged wars. Raze On! -Duke As you can see by the score line, these aren't the usual clans you've come to expect from Raze. We were originally scheduled to war one clan but when the weights weren't looking like a good fit, the other clan backed out. Following that, Leadership scheduled another opponent. The weights were once again an incomplete match so a mixed scrim was supposed to be settled on. The other clan had some turn over in their leadership structure and informed us at the last minute that none of their clan would be participating. Luckily we were able to get a hold of a third clan on such short notice and combine DemiGods' roster with Apex Predators to come up with a scrimmage.
Avery will have the video recap below with some of the most impressive attacks from the war. I saw a lot of pretty cool attacks and I think a lot of our members enjoyed meeting members from DemiGods and attacking friends. Personally, I'm very happy that we were able to get both clans to match. I would like to personally thank FYI for putting in the time to construct a roster for us during so many clan changes. Clan Business We have an upcoming scrimmage with Swarm and Failboat Elite. Swarm was the last clan to beat us. They had a townhall and hero advantage and we still managed to tie up the score but lost on percentage. Failboat also tied swarm. Failboat won on the tie breaker in that contest. It should be an excellent weekend full of amazing attacks. If you're weight doesn't fit in the scrimmage, DemiGods will still have a weekend war that you're welcome to partake in. We have quite a few members with new townhalls. Be sure to take advantage of those in the clan with experience in these townhalls to help guide you through the upgrade priorities and attack strategies. Raze On! -Duke |
