Welcome to RazeInfinity
Welcome new and old members of RazeInfinity. Please read and be familiar with the expectations below.
General Clan Information
We want you to be a loyal member of the clan. No clan hopping. If you need to leave, make sure you discuss it with a member of leadership. Our sister/feeder clan is DemiGods (#9JORLRQG). If you find you need to hone your attacks, Demi tends to draw lighter matchups and it may be a good place to develop skills. This being said, DemiGods is not a place for players not willing/able to improve. We are an active war community and expect all members to develop a well rounded skill set and to take the time to farm for upgrades. We run three scheduled wars per week (war details below). The rules outlined here apply to DemiGods, as well. If you need an extended break, RazeAffinity (#98VVPP8Q) is the place to move your account to. There are times when RazeAffinity will be used as a scrimmage clan, and accounts may be temporarily kicked if room is needed.
Promotions
Don’t worry about promotions. If you are an active and loyal member, over time it will be recognized. As a note, donation quantity does not play a factor in promotion, but it plays role in showing an act of participation and activity in our clan, which does matter in our clan.
Donations
Request reinforcements and use them in your farming. When you donate troops, please respect the request. If you want to donate something else than requested, ask first, otherwise there are no specific requirements/limits/ratios for donations.
Decorum
Clan chat is expected to friendly and supportive. We don’t do drama. We don’t do hateful language. Profanity should be kept to a minimum. Excuses for poor attacks should be kept to a minimum. Criticism should be constructive and encouraging. If you don’t have the social skill set for that, keep the opinions to yourself.
Fair Play
iMOD, XMOD, and any other modding mechanism is strictly prohibited by this clan. We believe in fair play and will remove those members found to be using this software.
Affiliations
Raze is a member of the Reddit War Clan System and the Fair Play Alliance.
Base Rules
Considering upgrading your town hall? Please seek advice from leadership first. Your upgrades impact our match ups in war; that is the only reason why we would ask this of you.
There should be no greater upgrade priority than your heroes. They have the most profound impact on your ability to 3 star. This is, of course, followed by war troops and spells. For defensive buildings upgrade traps, blowers, air defenses, and teslas to max first. Seek advice from leadership before dropping heavy defensive buildings like xbows, infernos, and the eagle artillery. Plan your hero upgrades so they are available for the weekend war.
Students of War
Everyone in Raze is expected to be a student of war. Updates and upgrades change the game and so we have to adapt to be relevant. OneHive and Hulkfiles have lots of resources, but they are both focused on different games now. Find the folks that are dedicated to Clash. Keep in mind a strategy that worked a few months ago may not still work because of an update/patch. Newer videos are better. Here are some YouTube resources:
Power CoC
Reddit Force Attacks
Th9 players should have a wide array of attacks to choose from in order to 3 star any target base. If you are always scrolling through the enemy bases looking for the base that suits your go-to attack, then take the time to add a few more tools to your tool box. Here is a quick reference guide to a variety of attack types. Pick something new and practice!
Communication tools
We use BAND for attack planning and communication across clans. We also use WarMatch.US for war (info at bottom of page). We may also use GroupMe and Google Hangouts for arranged wars.. We use Twitter, Reddit and the SuperCell Forum to promote the clan; elders and above are encouraged to help.. It is recommended you have and share a game related gmail account in case it is needed. You can email JD at [email protected] to establish contact.
War Rules
We take a systematic and ruthless (S&R) approach to war. We spare no expense and recognize the elixir loot won typically will not offset the cost of troops. However, winning a war is paramount and it is our opportunity to show our skills in battle. Aiming for a one star 50% or TH sniping is not allowed without leadership approval and will result in a boot. Failing to make both attacks in war will result in a boot, though circumstances may call for a mitigated consequence.
Pre-War
War Schedule
We war 3 scheduled times per week. Friday 2 pm EST, Sunday 8 pm EST, and Tues pm/Wed am (Some variability in this start time based on circumstances). DemiGods follows a similar schedule launching war after RazeInfinity on the same days, so if you forget to opt in or miss the cut you can often join them for war.
War inclusion is by Opt In. Make sure your status is accurate. When we don't have an exact number to include everyone in war, we will remove secondary accounts first to make sure everyone who wants in has a stake in the game. Trophies being the next factor considered. This will usually only be an issue with wars that would have normally been 35v35. We will rarely run a war with fewer than 15 members.
Unable to attend War
We require all attacks to be used in war, with no exception (even if there are no stars left, plan to practice). If you are unavailable for war, make sure to opt out. If you are in war, plan to fully participate with all heroes. We need your attacks and need them to be made with purpose. We especially want the whole clan to be participating in the weekend wars. An upgrading hero should not be a reason to miss a weekend war (plan your upgrade timing). Please make every effort to be available for the weekend event. If your circumstances may impact your war performance (going to be out of town and won’t have wifi, will have to attack on a phone when you usually use a tablet, won’t have time to plan out a thoughtful attack, etc.) then please opt out. We really want everyone at their best when they are making attacks. Our win-loss record is something we treasure and it takes everyone to maintain it.
During War
Defensive Clan Castle Troops in War Base
When you post your request for war map clan castle defensive troops, be very specific (4 wiz, 9 archers; etc.). Do not fill any war cc requests with non-max troops. We prefer for a clan castle to be filled from zero to full instantly to prevent our enemy from guessing the contents. Please do not partially fill ccs unless someone else is working with you to finish filling them at the same time.
Base Layout
We look for original base designs, but the goal of base lay-out is to prevent the crucial 3 stars. Do not use internet bases, as it gives our opponents an advantage by giving off important information such as trap layout and videos of how to 3 star these type of bases. If you start with an internet base, make sure to tweak it enough to make it your own.
Be respectful to our opponent; no insults spelled out with walls on prep day, etc. If you wish to make a decoy base, make it a real base, but have different strengths and weaknesses.
You are expected to have 3 quality war bases and should rotate between them between wars. You should also change up your war cc request between wars. This enables us to have a public war log, which helps us recruit. A good time to change your cc request for the next war is on prep day after your current request has been filled.
Making DIBS
We use WarMatch.Us to reserve targets. Leadership will make notes if bases need to be held or attacked by specific individuals or Th levels. Dibs on WarMatch are held for 2 hours (maybe longer in DemiGods), and dibs placed during prep day last for the first 2 hours of war. Because base design isn't revealed until Battle Day, you are encouraged to wait to call a target.
We pick our targets based on maximizing stars, which in most cases means targeting for an achievable 3 stars. We never pick targets based on loot. We do not expect you to attack “straight-across” by rank and most will need to attack lower than their rank to achieve the 3 star victory. We want as many 3 stars as possible on the first round so we can narrow our focus on the second round of attacks. Enemy base layout tends to be a larger factor in an attacker’s success, which is why it is crucial we all develop a wide array of attack strategies. In rare cases, dibs may be cancelled in the last hour of war if leadership determines it is necessary for an end-war strategy.
Time
Th8 accounts should make both attacks in the first 12 hours of war. Th9 attackers should make the first attack within the first 12 hours of war and should have made both attacks by hour 18. This is becoming increasingly critical. If you cannot make these timelines please opt out or notify leadership as unforeseen circumstances arise. Th9 dibs will not be honored in the last 4 hours of war; those attacks should be made sooner.
Target Selection
Fresh hitting a base is a greater challenge than cleaning one up. If you are making a fresh hit, make sure you are developing a plan and posting it for feedback. If you are cleaning a base, make the most of the prior attack(s) on it. Three starring a scouted base is something we should all be able to regularly accomplish. We all have bad moments/streaks, but we are failing as a clan if we have to hit any base more than twice.
Feedback
Everyone is expected to help provide feedback about posted plans on BAND. We all have different skill sets and can contribute. Please add your voice.
Scouting
If you are in a position where you are scouting, the goal should be to locate gbs, teslas, and reveal the cc troops. Scouting with drags may get you a higher percentage, but isn’t going to reveal the gbs.
Offensive Clan Castle Troops for attacks:
When requesting reinforcements during war time, you should specify if the troops are for a war attack in your request. Unless you have max troops, ask before filling this request.
Some common requests:
111 - Golem, wizard, archer
HLH - Hound, loon, haste
212 - 2 witches, wizard, 2 barbs
223 - 2 witches, 2 wiz, 3 barbs
43 - 4 valks, 3 barbs
312 - 3 valks, 1 wiz, 2 barbs
Before Attacking
Always double (and triple) check your spells, heroes, army camps, and cc troops before making a war attack. Always check WarMatch to make sure you’re not about to attack someone else’s claim. Make sure you are in an environment where distractions are unlikely and you have the most secure internet connection possible. DCs happen, but every attack matters and we have an obligation to make the most of each one.
