We will begin with offering DIBS to a limited number of players:
- Those who are capable of successfully attacking the enemy’s top 10 bases.
- Those who really need to tackle the enemy’s 5 weakest bases.
- Those who have specially assembled ground troops (like GoWiWi, GoWiPe)
If you would like to call DIBS on a base, simply put your request into the ‘Comments’ section of this post:
- Include your name, the base you want to attack, and what army you plan to use.
- Observe previous requests that are already posted in the ‘Comments’. You may NOT request the same base # as one already claimed. (However, you may negotiate in Clan Chat to swap or change).
- Please ensure your request is appropriate….. If you are the # 23 player in our clan, do not request # 42. Likewise, if you happen to be # 37, do not request to attack their #4 with your Level 2 dragons just because they have an exposed TH.
- Your request may be Veto-ed by the Leadership if there is an obvious, better solution that will yield more stars to the clan. We may also help you choose a better fit for your DIB.
- Even though you get two attacks, you may only make ONE DIB request.
DIBS will be accepted for the first 12 hours of Prep Day, and cut off at 2am EST on Saturday.
After that time, we will change the in-game clan description to include a list of all bases that have DIBS on them. Example - DIBS!! 1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 10, 15, 19, 27, 41,42,43,44,45
We will also leave the original requests in the 'Comments' section of this post.
Bases with DIBS on them SHOULD NOT BE ATTACKED BY ANYONE IN THE CLAN. Look at the Clan Description when planning your attack.
Additional comments:
- Calling DIBS is entirely optional. Although you may fit one of the requirements, you do not have to call DIBS.
- Respecting DIBS is NOT optional. Please check the Clan Description before attacking, and respect the request.
- The DIBS system does not change Akiyume’s War System at this time. We may decide to consolidate the two efforts in the future, but not for this week’s ‘experiment’.
- Please do not complain if someone does take your DIB. It’s a new system, and there WILL be hiccups. If your DIB is taken, you may absolutely point it out. Just do not be mean about it, and move on from the subject right after.
We’ll see how this first week goes, and we’ll decide what changes to make, and whether to expand it for next week.
If you would like some input in improvements:
- Email me, or
- Post your idea in the ‘Comments’, but WAIT UNTIL AFTER 2AM EST SATURDAY: we need to keep that ‘Comments’ section easy for DIB readers to see which bases are already claimed.
The most important factor we all will use in evaluating the success of this DIB System is simple:
Does DIBS help us win wars?
Let’s go fight another War and find out!!
