For the second time in our history, we were rematched against a former foe.
The recap can be found at this link (lhttp://razeinfinity.weebly.com/blog-of-war/raze-infinity-104-red-dragons-81).
The last time we faced the Red Dragons, we got off to a hot start and ended with 29 three stars. We were not so fortunate this weekend. Raze had a significant townhall 10 disadvantage to make up for but despite our best efforts, were only managed to secure a tie. As you can see from Cloud's graphs, Raze was behind pretty much the entire war and only managed to comeback at the very end of the war.
Overall Stats
14 three stars, 12 two stars, 1 one star, three bases left unattacked for 125/190 clan xp. We had 15 lost attacks. Another 7 attacks didnt add any stars to our total. For a 30 member war, we wasted over one third of our attacks when we were already at a disadvantage. Remember, it truly is the little things than make a big difference in this game. One wizard here or a spell placed in a slightly different place or time makes a HUGE impact on the overall outcome of the battle. I HIGHLY encourage you all to practice war style raids during the week and to plan and review the plan for your war attacks. The better prepared you are, the more likely you are to execute the plan, deal with surprises, and know when you've missed something.
Our most heroic attack was by Mealypudding. At one point the enemy even congratulated Mealy on his excellent war. We were certainly impressed by his use of the redheads as well
Our most heroic defense was by Addicted steel. Steel was able to repel a gowiwipe for a 49% 0 star attack. We also had 4 other defensive victories for a total of 5 wins.
Shout out to our six star attackers this week: Jim and Mealypudding, Lets try to add some more names to this list next weekend!
Clan Business
As you may or may not have heard, Raze is going to be starting a feeder clan. As the main clan stands right now, it doesn't make a lot of sense to recruit many th8's because we have so few of them and when the war match comes around, we are matched against opponents that have fewer th8's and thus fewer targets for our 8's to hit. However, the forums do have a significant number of lower townhall players and it seems like its hard to get many great players once they reach the higher townhall levels. So by creating a feeder, we can provide a home for the less developed townhalls and hopefully create a loyal player to the Raze community. We are going to recruit th6-9 to the feeder. If you have alternate accounts or friends that would want to be a part of this amazing clan, please send them our way.
In addition to this, the feeder clan will be able to provide a home for our less active members or those that are struggling against the competition we are facing in the main clan. The leadership group feels that some experience against less advanced opponents will help these members gain some confidence and help make the game a little more fun again.
That's all I have for this week. IF you want to be considered to help be a part of the leadership group for the feeder clan please drop me an email. My address can be found at the top of this site.
