Holy Cow was that a close one!
Its probably been 2 months since we last had such an exciting and close war as the one we had against new mgt. Things started off with a clunk as the first 5 attacks of the war went for a total of 2 stars and 4 fails. This weekend was not the finest showing for Raze. We pride ourselves on being a three star clan and we definitely met a worthy adversary this weekend in the New Management clan. We had ten attacks go for 80-99% but for some reason or another, we just couldn't pull off the final star. One of the things that was really driving me crazy during the war was the number of attacks where heroes were not activated. The abilities make a big difference and we left so many stars on the table by not utilizing them to their full capability.
Regardless of all that, it was a very close war with several key battles. I think it was my attack on 3. Jacob that finally broke the tie for the last time and that was with just under 2 hours left in the war. Despite how close the score was, we knew that Raze had an excellent shot of winning because of the number of three stars we had put up compared to New Management. There just werent any great options for New Management to pick up multiple stars in their limited number of attacks towards the end of the war and Raze had several enemy townhall 10's left to be destroyed so our we had more opportunities for stars and I'm glad to say we capitalized on those opportunities..
A big Thank You to Cloud for once again contributing these fine graphs. They further emphasize how close this war actually was right up until the very end.

Overall Stats
16 three stars, 15 two stars, 4 one stars, 0 bases left undefeated which amounts to 200/200 clan xp. Some of those stars came via some very unusual attack styles (I'm looking at you JD!) but they all contributed to the clan and put us one step closer to the next clan perk level so congratulations!
Most heroic attack goes to 6. Brohammed against 5.aBobcat. This particular attack is featured in the videos below so I will let Bro better explain the breakdown. Needless to say, it was a masterful attack and very impressive to watch!
Most heroic defense goes to 22. Xeton against 6.Ted_bearccc. Towards the end of the war New MGT was sending their higher ranked attackers down to attack our lowest un-three starred bases. Xeton was able to hold a th10 to a 46% zero star! It should have been overkill but our defenses held strong.
A special shout-out to our six star attackers!
Brohammed and RebelBinary were the only two in the clan that managed to score 6. Normally I have to take a break and rest when I type up this section. Its a little disappointing to see so few names this week but New MGT deserve a lot of credit for how well they designed their bases and executed their attacks.

As previously mentioned, the lack of Hero activation was a big problem. I dont have an accurate count as to how many attacks failed to activate at least one hero but it was probably close to ten. That is an unacceptably high number. We absolutely need to do better at watching the bar and re-clicking those heroes during the battle at the appropriate time. I know that a lot goes on during those stressful 3 minutes of each attack, but some mid-week practice goes a long way at helping to keep those nerves cool.
The other thing I wanted to emphasize was Hero upgrades. Make sure you work on getting dark elixir for those hero upgrades. They make a big difference both on offense and defense. Appropriate hero level before townhall upgrades is just as essential as making sure the defenses and walls are fully upgraded.

That's all I have this week folks. Remember your heroes are important! Level them up and ACTIVATE them when you war! I am incredibly proud of the way Raze was able to pull together against a quality opponent even on a day when we didnt have our best stuff. I want to thank our co-leaders for putting in the hours helping our clan finalize attack plans as well as all those who donated in such a timely manner! You all are the reason why this clan remains the best kept secret in clash of clans!
Raze On!
