Over the last few months, RazeInfinity had been trying to set up a FairPlay Scrimmage. Sadly, the match ups kept failing. Out of the blue in our Follow Up War, we got the kind of matchup up we were waiting for: “The Swarm”. As soon as the war matched chat lit up as several members recognized the name; this clan was the real deal.
The map was scrutinized, and leadership went into thinking mode. We had a town hall 10 disadvantage (6-4), but we had our resident 9.5, Flo, so there was a little wiggle room. FYI I’m GCH put on the general hat and started organizing brand new bases across the th9’s. While that was going on Flo went into beast farming mode and by the end of the prep day he threw down an Inferno Tower and xbow hoping to put up a heavier defense. This was RazeInfinity putting up the A game, we knew what we had to do and it got done.
The War opened with our th8’s coming out with ZapQuake DragonLoon’s one after and another until all their TownHall 8’s where cleared. It was near perfect and left enough town hall eight attacks to do some scouting higher up. The Swarm had more trouble with our TownHall 8’ and in the end they had to come down to clear them. Unfortunately, it didn’t slow them down enough and both sides cleared the town hall nines without any help from the town hall 10’s.

Saying they were cleared doesn’t really do justice to the town hall nine battles that went on. Both sides put up so many beautiful three star attacks it was something you just had to watch. Between awesome first attacks, scouts and cleanups it was intense, thrilling and exactly the kind of Clan War you want to see. As the endgame approached each side kept crossing off bases until it was down to reattaching the top, and this was were some magic happened. RicePatty and Flo each put on a show to remember 3 starring #4 and #6. Watch the replay’s each attack got lucky at just the right moment in just right the place. It was a lot of fun to watch. My favorite part is after Flo’s attack he says in chat “I took the wrong spells!” Flo make sure all your mistakes work out like that.
The Final score of 56-56 and 92.80% vs 93.30% is about as close as you can get. Huge thank you to the Swarm for the great sportsmanship! We’ll look forward to a rematch.
