Congratulations RAZE on another win! First off thank you for back to back perfect war attendance! During prep it was clear it was going to be an exciting war looking over the opponent. They had a nice mix of complexity across their bases which gave everyone a challenge across the rankings. Warrior Wolf kicked things off with a 3 start and we never let up finishing at 91.6% avg destruction! Other clan was pretty active for the first few hours making it look like we where going to have a challenge this week. They made it interesting and thew in a bonus attack that put us into OT... lol With our proven war strategy and perfect attendance, it's clear we war for glory!
Over the past two wars / weeks it has come up a few times on how our first attacks should be selected, and leave some lower bases open for players ranked in the 25ish + range. Also some people are aiming a little high which is starting to look like a loot bonus grab than a star focus. Hey guys, we won this war by a landslide so why is this being brought up? Always hold true that we raid for loot and war for glory. Stick to this as a team and all is good. If we start deviating and loose a war, think of the consequence of kissing majority of your loot bonus goodbye on top of paying for those expensive attacks. What about trying things out when we are crazy ahead in war? I'm not against this, but needs to be cleared by leadership first.
First attacks should always go for 3 stars that aren't too risky. Don't aim to high and don't aim to low. But... that will focus on the bottom half of our opponent? So how do we solve for this? DIBS! If there is a base you want to attack, don't forget to call it out. This is really the only way we can make sure you have a base in the range you want for your first attack. DIBS also only last for about the first 16 hours of war so we can make sure we clean up with our second attacks. Today I was asked, what we can do to leave clean up bases open for our second attack? Unfortunately not much we can do here. Attack 1 is to 3 star everyone we can from the beginning, and attack 2 is clean up. My only advice here is to attack a second base sooner than later.
