Happy New Year RAZE! What a way to kick off things with a very close 50 vs 50 war win, right? Definitely a war to be proud of! Big thanks from leadership making every attack count!. Latinos 100 was a strong clan that went down fighting. Few things stood out to me on why we won this war.
Take a look at the charts Aki put together for us below. The lead kept changing through out war but at the end we pulled ahead. In the last couple hours we where only ahead by about a handful of stars. We kept bringing the heat with different attack styles to customize what needed to happen. Fun Stats
We farm for loot and war for glory! Each week I would like to see us farm for DE and get one hero upgrading after war. As we continue to grow wars will get harder. Trend is already starting to happen. This goes without saying but these troops can make or break an attack or defense. RAZE ON! - krusty | |

First of all Merry Christmas Raze! As a present to the clan our website also got refreshed, more updates on the way but this is a great start! Shout out to the Co's for knocking this out over the last couple of days! Special thanks to Aki for doing an upgrade to unlock more features, more to come on that topic later.
Was a great war this week against a solid clan! Helsinki - thank you for a great war and we look forward to hopefully going to war against you all again soon! With it being the holidays some people where not able to war and had to drop and come back after we declared war. Totally understandable and thank you for those who stayed in war having perfect war attendance which I'm sure things probably got a little hectic at home. Holidays right? :) Stars where solid braking the 100 mark again! Looking like more of us are starting to use different attacks on TH9s to help grow against harder clans we are facing more and more. Week after week we keep our focus and true to the strategy. Also great to see players growing by taking some calculated risks on their fist attacks. Okay this post is public so don't want to give too much away... The Helsinki clan sent me an email after war congratulating us and took note on how effective we are at war. RAZE ON!!! This week our 3 start streak tapered off at #37, and we had 11 attacks lost which both are a little odd for us. On the bright side our clan is growing and moving into stronger attacks which compensates and still brings home the stars. We had 24 3 star attacks! Captain Awesome brought 6 stars home and had the most heroic attack for most of the war until lizpig nailed a high base keeping dragons focused instead of taking the normal tour. Cota had the most heroic defense. Congratulations to JD making Co-Leader this week as well! You earned it man, great job!! Please take him up on his offer to send an email if you have questions around your attacks or looking for tips. Fell free to reach out to me or other leadership as well. Merry Christmas! - krusty ---- Aki here with the intercept :D The website is currently being worked out right now, so things will be shifted and empty pages will be filled. I have made a section just for me (cuz I'm greedy), where I'll be posting all of what my mind can share with the clan. For example if you look at the graphs below, even the the "Total Stars won" (4th graph) is a closely done match, the total stars per attack (3rd graph, meaning the combined stars of ALL battles regardless of it counting to the total star count) is well over 1/3 more than Helsinki. The quality of attacks matter, the selection of the base matter. The gap of 12 stars might not seem much, but the tactic of gaining those gaps reveal the true nature of how war is. For Helsinki, if you wish to hear some more about our clan tactics (I won't reveal everything but helpful tips), contact us, or krusty ^^. If you wish to be more in-tuned with the dark side of clash of clans (mostly my weirdness) or how I analysis and record everything, please stay tuned :D Happy New Year everyone!~ aki~ Hi guys, akiyume here :D Thank you to all those who have participated in war! We have continued to strive for victories and we will continue with this path. As a person who deeply likes to study the clan wars, and everyone's attack, I see a few areas where we can improve, but I always see alot of potential as well as those who have already begun to evolve and learn new ways to attack in war. This week I'm going to give props. and recognition towards Jon, (may seem alittle bias), but Jon has had a rough attacks couple of wars back, but now I find he has found an answer towards getting a comfortable attack into a base and gaining the stars. Ironically the people who are in the Wall of Shame (posted below :3), are those that have contributed the 6 star attacks for this war. I would like to say to all the members, thank you for being loyal and staying with us for, it's almost the end of the year and Christmas is upon us, so may you guys have a wonder holiday. P.S. I'll share and image that I have done for this war. It woulda been more detailed but the early maintenance wiped the replays... aki with love~ Wall of Shame (for the fun) Now, for a fun little side-quest. I told you peepz since last war, if you are going to put a fake base, be prepared to be put on the Wall of Shame, hehe. Now, here we have our two (maybe more, but not noticing any) candidates who managed to be the first to enter this Glorious moment :D. Surprisingly these two members both got 6 stars in the war to redeem their shame, so it cancels out ^^. Here we have the fabulous base of Max 123, and the line "COME GET SOME", strangely enough, the person who attacked max still couldn't three this bases. Shows the difference a well upgraded defenses could do. I don't know what's more shameful, this base that you forgot to change back and will forever be in the Wall of Shame, or the fact that someone couldn't 3 Star this base, lol :P Here we have one of our Co-leaders to be the first on the Wall of Shame, tsk tsk. I name this base the "Diamond of Shame" as it cost us an extra star for the enemy :P. Either way the attack wasn't as good yet it still 3-starred this base.
And those are our two Wall of Shame candidates for this round of War. :D All joke aside, Decoy bases might be beneficial if we are facing against well organized clans, but that could also backfire, when a simply small mistake such as this, could end up being the key difference between a win and a lose. So if you are going to do a decoy base now, please have it be an actual defendable base. The purpose of a decoy base is to catch the opponent off guard and waste resource in an attack that was meant to target one base, but then got switch with another. For example, a Dragonable base, all of a sudden turned hard to hit hog base, can really screw with someone's timing, and messes with their attacks and strategy. That being said, from now on, please no more mock/'poor' bases, but have two different types of bases instead. We love you Jon and max, and hopefully you guys got fun experience out of it. Anyways, enjoy Christmas ^^. Aki out~ Hi guys, akiyume here, Do you really need that many wizards to clear the junk for Pekka? Need to remember that wizards are a part of the Gowipe, not just Gope. If you use literally half or more of your wizards just to clear junk and they get picked off, what's the point? Today, I'm going to share some replays and some aki-knowledge onto you peasants :P (jks). Seriously though, there are too many Gowipe attacks who waste too many wizards in the beginning and they spread out too wide. With this guide, it will teach you how to get your pekka's inside, with almost just only 1/4 the wizards needed (at most 6). First let's start with fresh replays from the current war, I am not picking on anyone, but it's just the most recent Gowipes that were used:
Here is a video example of leading everything inside the base (video still processing). I had only 12 wizards in my army composition, which they managed to survive until the end. The point of gowipe is not just leading the pekkas inside the middle, but the wizards as well. The wizards, from inside, breaks the layer outside. There is still that finally layer that needs to be dealt with. More explanation to be explained in the future.
Hi fellow Earthlings and Raze-rs, akiyume here ^^,
Yet another victory, and a blast from the past with a clan we have fought in August, U20 Elite, now for Round 2. We had fought them at War 20 for those that have been here, and we won with 106-88. Back then we only had at most 7 TH9s, with many TH8s who back then required my Template to figure out which bases good for which attacks... good times... -nostalogia-, anyways, good job everybody in fighting this war, proud of you :) Even though compared to previous wars, our stats aren't as good, as a clan, we are currently entering a new era of TH9, where we are stepping into new territory where TH9s are the majority Things will change in terms of base selection, and the way we war for sure in the future, but for now, we will continue the same plan as we do every war, and win the stars. Our bases held strong with only 5 Three-stars from the enemy, and 15 from us. If you have any comments, questions or concerns, leave a comment so that we are able to see what our fellow clan mate views ^^. Anyways, good job everyone, and we will get stronger. Another solid win for Raze! Great job everyone!! This war started off a little odd. Mark & Aman kicked things off with solid 3 star attacks giving us the early lead. Then FIN stepped up tied us, and then took a small lead. Was looking to be a close war but then we pulled ahead and never looked back! We had some awesome attacks and some that failed. That comes with any war, but don't let failed attacks mess with your head. Raze Up and get those stars! DIBS has been solid as Duke captured in his last post. TH8s make sure you take advantage of this so that you have a good match up, especially our APAC members since it's the middle of the night when war starts. Make sure to ALWAYS check for dibs so you don't take someone else. Stay confident in your match up and bring the heat! Highlights: - Most Heroic Attack: Trevor (killed it on a TH9) - Most Heroic Defense: A13 - Base #33, enough said, thanks Max for taking care of business here! - We 3 star'd 26 bases War for Glory! - krusty Hi fellow clannies! akiyume here,
Been a quite a busy week for me, so things have been delayed, and I'm sorry T_T. I'm working with some new data that I can get from the war and hopefully this will be put to use. Nothing I can really say off the bat right now but good job in getting all those 3 stars (32) and 2 stars (7). Our plan works, and our strategy is strong. A shoutout for Phongtizzle who reached Town Hall 10, and everyone who contribute to yet another full 80/80 attacks used. Some thing I have noticed is that we are lacking Hog Rider users these days, and when it comes to easy bases in these types of war, we are trying to brute force our way with Gowipe, in a clearly hog-friendly base. It's something I feel like we need some more dedicated hog users in order to minimize the attack needed to 3 star a base. Hogs aren't dead so don't give up on them, but I would still recommend having MINIMUM lv3 hogs before you start. Appreciate those who can be flexible in attack ^^. Right now I'm entering some data such as how many good attacks, clean up attacks and stuff that we have done as a clan, and probably making that into a bar graph later on. Some rough data that I can proved as of now with attacks used. Guide: First digit is stars that contribute to overall total count in war stars. Second digit is the battle's resulting stars. So if it's (1,2) that means it gained 1 star contributing for the attack, and scored 2 stars (broke the TH, 50%) in the battle. Counted Stars Attacks (1-2/1-2): One Star Counted (1,1): 3 One Star Counted (1,2): 0 Two Star Counted (2,2): 22 Total: 25 Since we had 7 bases remaining with 2 stars, that means about 18 of the bases had to be re-attacked. Not-Counted Attacks (0,#): Failed Battle (0,0): 4 Uncounted Battle (0,1): 7 Uncounted Battle (0,2): 12 Total: 23 Just because the battle/attack wasn't counted towards contributing to the total stars, doesn't mean it was a failure. This number could represent the attempts during the clean up phase to get that difficult 3 stars. Clean Up attack/Three Stars (1-3/3): Three-Star Clean Up (1,3): 15 Three-Star Clean Up (2,3): 3 Total: 18 (as predicted above) Three-Star on First Attack: 14 (8/13 from dibs) Total: 32 Three Stars. Love it when the numbers match up to the results.... I might split the attacks even deeper into when some are part of the Clean Up Phase, when some attacks are part of the initial attack, but that'll take a little more time. Anyways, some more finer details I will probably add during satuday or monday depending on schedule, are comparison from our past 3-5 wars on how the attacks went, (work in progress) video recording of actual base how to scout/how to look and attack/ replay commentary reviews as I have done awhile ago. I might not do some, but it could come though, look forward to it :). Have a wonderful snowy December (if that's what you enjoy), and stay safe and warm :) aki~ Great job everyone, what a fun war! We got matched up with a respectable clan (91 war wins) that stayed active through out war. Wasn't sure at first how serious to take them when looking at a top base saying; "Easy 3 Star", all defense pulled to the side, and a TH snipe. That quickly changed and the base was redesigned which told us game on! Both clans kicked things off quickly but only got 1 star on first attacks. We pulled ahead got tied at 27 stars a few hours into war, and then we started taking our lead! Always trust our strategy and make sure we are going for 3 stars on our first attacks. This helps later in the second half of war. This will continue to get more important as we get stronger, the wars will get harder.
My favorite attack was watching Eddie attack #15. It was a nail bitter watching the hogs circle the TH, and then with a split second left went from a 99% 1 star into a 3 star! We cleaned up our 3 star streak a little later than usual and got up to 23. We had perfect war attendance, thank you as always! Josh had a great defense at the 2h 39m mark. His cc was lured but failed on taking out the troops. It was a hard stop and the witch in the cc kept bringing the heat. Defense only gave up 31%. Fun stats:
Great job, nice war to be proud of! - krusty P.S. from aki, since this war was 40v40 not 45v45, the graphs are based off of average, not numbers, so remember that when comparing the lines (but the Total stars on graph #3-4 are accurate though). Looking at the graph, you can clearly see that they started the War with only 3 hours of actual attack time at the beginning then it was sleep time for them. For us, we have the perfect timeline of 8 hours intervals and we are lucky to have such a nice time to start war. Good job everyone, and Raze on :D Hi guys akiyume here, Sorry for another post after the graphs, but I just want to contribute a small factor with regarding some data I've collected and trying to address some things. (If I'm missing anyone, or any data seems wonky, I'm sorry :o). To explain what this is, is virtually all your attacks within the past 5 wars plotted on a time area (don't worry, results of the attacks were not recorded). To understand the graph, the colours represent the War of which the attack was used in. If there is a colour, let's say Blue (which is War 33), and a number (let's say 3), it means that at that same time zone, you used your attack in War 33, and in War 31. This graph is arranged in numerical order, and it shows some diversity and the strict schedules that some people tend to follow (explain later on). With this graph, you can sort of guess at what stage the war we are at, and who tends to be available to attack at what time. To address a certain issue that has come up, those near the bottom (typically #30 and below), will need to make some time to adjust your schedules so that your attacks will be outside of the "Hard Zone" area. This Hard Zone are is when mostly all the bases below have been attacked, and all that's left are hard bases. If you fall below this line and area, it's almost certain that there will be no bases left, and your attack will be wasted. I've been in that situation and the pressure from such an attack with no targets left is really 'heavy' and I wish to address to people that situations change, and that we are in it as a team. If you are able to compensate your time and attack fairly early on, you'll be able to contribute more into the war, and not have to worry as much about cleaning up bases you can't for sure 3 stars. Here we have the "War Types" you could say when it comes to Warring. There are advantages and disadvantages when it comes to each type and no type is better than the other, and each play a different role at different times during the war.
Our Wars consist of Phases, the first 10 hours is when we do most of our star gaining. Within this 10 hours, based on the data from the Line graphs, the first 3 hours are constant, meaning that we always get the same amount of stars/we do a strong start from the beginning. Within the next 6-7 hours though, is what separates and makes each war unique when it comes to clearing the bases one by one. This is the area where we can easily change attacks, or give the best order without chaos, and at the end of this 10 hour mark, we always end up at the same high standard of stars. There is the "First Attacker" Type, The "Middle Attacker" Type, the "Sniper" Type, The "Flexible" Type which consist of Early+Snipers and All Rounders. There is the Undefined area where I haven't gathered enough data on your attacks so I can really determine what's comfortable for you. And here is the explanation of them: First Attacker Type: Those that attack within the first 8 hours of war with both attacks. The Benefit of this is that these guys tend set the tone of the clan, clearing up all the easier bases from the beginning, and allowing the rest of the clan to focus more on the remaining bases. Those below 30 are especially benefit from being in this type as it gives less burden towards you getting stars. Negative side is that those in this area, tend to get things over with, but do not contribute towards the clean up, but it's these guys that set up the foundations of what we can clean up. Middle Attackers Type: Those that attack between the first half or middle of the war (23-19hours). The attacks generally are less than 6h-8hrs apart from one another. The people within this category are either more confident and careful, or just have a time zone difference. Middle attackers know what they are doing, and generally are considered the standard balance between, attacking new bases, and cleaning up those that can be picked off. Middle attackers knows which opinions are left and adapt to the flow of the war more easily as they know which bases are available for access. Snipers Type: Those that attack in the beginning roughly and have a 6-10 hours delay between their first and second attack. Another trait or qualification is that generally the last attack is part of the Clean up Phase, during the last 8 hours remaining to 4 hours remaining of the War. Sniper Types usually are more cautious towards the war, sticking to the war and seeing how things turn out through the whole game. Snipers contribute the the last vital power push and is what determines the difference between the victor and the defeated. Those in Sniper have more pressure as bases gets finished off by each other, and/or there is a low chance of getting the stars. In my personal opinion, sniper class needs to be flexible (or powerful) and generally are those that require a certain amount of 'self-regulation' as they tend to be the ones to take the remaining burdens of the clan. I do not recommend those below and those who aren't as confident in getting 3 stars to be a sniper. Flexible Type: Those are flexible type generally have their own schedules to adapt to the war, and can easily assimulate into any of the "types" above. They tend to be needed when required, and push the extra steps into the war and make up for any places that can be patched. With a great adaptability, those in the Flexible Type scout more often than not, and match the war to their personal comfort. Sometimes things get rough as the War flow changes, and adapting could be more difficult. I am basing this on what the data I've collected and what I personally view the types. Being in First Attack sets the foundation of the clan, being in middle attacker molds the flow of the war, being the sniper shapes the frame and the end results of the war, and being a Flexible type gives a personal touch and work to areas that needs focusing on. We all use our attacks that suit our comfort area, and it really does reflex on when and how you use your attack. I don't want to focus those that are weak in sniper to be a first attacker, as it doesn't give a good "comfortable" feeling towards warring, and I find that we need to balance each other out. Hopefully this settles and address somethings for people to understand. We are doing an excellent job of covering each other and the bases, but the flow of the war changes each time, and each role has a different burden. I hope everyone learned something/read my rambling.... but thank you for continuously attacking and gaining stars, enjoy the clan, War for Glory. Solid war victory here against a clan that we can respect. Rising Mojo if you are reading this, thank you for a fun war! You guys are an organized clan that had great attendance, never gave up, and kept us watching the score.
This war started off with []jim 91[] getting 3 stars followed by the next 9 attacks on our side collecting 22 stars with the lead. We kept the lead, but the other clan kept up with us which kept it fun! Our war strategy is proven again with nice 9 start victory over Rising Mojo. This was also a very interesting war with troops not exactly going as planned. For example - I had a gowipe walk away from a jump spell... (yes still a little sore on that). We had our first clanmate have a bad first attack which looked like a loot grab early and leave. You know who you are & consider yourself banned from the clan for un-razeman like conduct. Our TH8s - try to attack earlier in war so that you can get your 2nd attacks in before 3 star streak the bottom. DIBS helps with the first attack thankfully but everyone is on their own for the 2nd attack. Asking who can I hit in the last 30 mins of war isn't the best time. Okay onto the fun stuff! Our strategy is proven again and was tested this war! I think we are the most critical of ourselves when we are winning. Trust in the strategy but also know leadership might call an audible to adapt to how the war is going especially towards the end of the war making sure every star counts. Leadership will be talking about how to tweak things, if you have input you know how to reach me and I'll share. Fun stats:
Check out the charts below! Congrats on another win and RAZE ON! - krusty -------------------- Hey guys akiyume here! A strong war at last and we have some good results from this war. Krusty covered it all, but as you look at the graph, you can see we've remained at a consistent high (even though it might look like it was lower compared to last week). If you look at the enemy's Total Stars per attack over time remaining (which means all the stars total together, regardless of contribution towards War Stars), you can see that they gained less over 30 stars over the 8 hour period (between 14th to 3rd hour), and had less than 120 stars combined by then only to gain another 30 within the last 2 hours. That means they tried to get the stars all at the last minute of war, which is not a good strategy. For us, we've easily gotten to 120 stars by the 14th hour (or 10 hours into the war), and every 6 hours, we gain 30 stars. Their time of attack is roughly 2 hours delayed compared to us, meaning that their time zone is only 2 hours away. Even if you still put that into consideration, they remain about 2 steps behind us. Everyone in the clan has done a good job into creating this Warring beast of a clan, and I'm proud to say we are strong. For now, that's all I have to say, and wish you guys the best of the week, and some of us (including me) are venturing or have stepped into the world of TH9, so I do congratulate those individuals. The tempo of the wars might change due to the increase of more TH9s so please fasten your seat belts for the shifts :). |
